Please be aware that any delays caused by you will postpone your estimated completion date. Factors like failing to approve digital proofs in a timely manner can affect the overall timeline of your order.
A 50% deposit is required for the design process to proceed. Final payment is required at the time of final design approval and must be paid in full before production will begin. Changes to the scope of work that emerge in the design process will be included in the final invoice.
You will receive a digital proof of your stationery design. You are entitled to two rounds of edits on this proof before it goes to print, via guided feedback forms I will provide. I highly recommend taking the time to thoroughly examine the proof and get input from any other decision-makers (or just an extra set of eyes!) before submitting your edits. The more complete your revisions are, the smoother the process will go!
Changes after the second round of edits are subject to a charge of $100, and once the order goes to print, changes can no longer be made. I will do an initial check when creating the proof, but final inspection of all spelling and information is your responsibility. When you submit your approval on the digital proof, you assume responsibility for any errors that have gone uncorrected.
If any additional charges have been incurred through changes to the order at the end of the two rounds of edits, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance that must be paid in full before the order goes to print.
Letterpress is a handmade process, and will inevitably have some amount of natural variation piece-to-piece. Ink colors and impressions may vary slightly between print runs and differ slightly from samples. We use handmade cotton paper for our stationery that also includes natural variation. It has natural deckle-edges, and may vary sheet to sheet in size, shape, color, and thickness. This can impact the placement of the design impression on the sheet - each piece will be unique!
We strive for excellence in the product we send to you, but cannot guarantee factory "perfection." That is part of the charm of handmade stationery!
Unfortunately, the custom nature of our products doesn't allow us to accept refunds or exchanges. It is our goal that you are satisfied with the final product, so for this reason, multiple approvals will be required during the design process. A final approval form will be sent once you are happy with the design.
B&H cannot be responsible for unforeseen circumstances, work-stoppages, “acts of God", which may make it impossible for me to complete your job in a reasonable amount of time. My complete obligation to you may be discharged in its entirety by my refund of your payment, without prejudice, and disclaiming any secondary consequences or costs that you may incur. It is my intention to complete every job, but if there is a substantial reason that I choose not to move forward with any part of your project, a refund will be assessed.
Cancellations by you for any reason are granted at the sole discretion of B&H Creative Studio. Orders cannot in any circumstance be cancelled once the order has gone to print. If B&H agrees to an order cancellation before it goes to print, the refund may be partial in order to cover the cost of work completed at that point in the process.

B&H handles mailing for clients. I take every measure to ensure the successful delivery of your invitations. However, USPS is a third party and I have no control over the delivery of your invitations once they have been handed off to USPS. B&H is not responsible for undelivered, delayed, or damaged mail items once they have been handed over to the postal service. In signing this contract, you acknowledge that USPS is an imperfect system and accept the associated risks of mailing. If you prefer, I also offer mailing via trackable parcel that allows for quick, trackable delivery with much less risk of damage in transit. Details on your mailing options will be fully enumerated upon booking.
